There SHOULD be a way based on the throw-out lever. For example, as the clutch wears out, the T-O lever gets closer & closer to the slave cylinder. When it gets within xxx distance then your clutch is about gone. My Saabs have had this kind of measurement listed in the shop manuals, but I've never seen anything like that for Honda.
