This is one of the simplest (and very important) maintenances you can do for your car.

First of all, you punctured one of your steel lines, not good; replace it ASAP. A damaged brake system is a serious issue, and driving around without it fixed properly is putting your life and the lives of others at risk.

Second, this will require 2 people to do properly. So find a friend that has done this before, since this will be your first time. Here is a page to help get you started.
