I ordered a D15B, a JDM SOHC VTEC engine.
What was delivered to my shop was a D16Y8 SOHC VTEC engine, which comes from a 2000 Honda Civic and has 40,000 miles on it, rather than the JDM D15B that has 50,000 miles.
I know the D15B is a 1.5 liter, versus the D16y8 having the 1.6L.
Should i keep the D16Y8 motor? or insist on the D15 ????

well if you have an OBD2 car then just stick with the Y8. you'd have some issues with the wiring and sensors and shit with the Y8 if your car is OBD1
