Do this
-Get ITR cams, or GSR cams for less power than ITR
-ITR valvesprings, retainers
-get a p28 n chip it, or get a p72 or p30 and don't chip
-get 4-1 or ITR headers

You will feel a big difference in VTEC with these mods
plus u can rev out to like 8500-9000 no prob.
Staty away from Aftermarket cams no matter what,
Honda factory cams are MUCH better.

with a setup like that 9k is pushing it. keep the revs at 8-8.5k

factory cams can only make so much power, if you really want power aftermarket is your only choice. depends on your power goals.
