If while I'm talking to him it becomes apparent that he would like to use anything raised to help his bills, I see no reason to disobey his wishes.

Currently we're at $91 physical dollars ($30 had to be rejected because I can't take CC, but that does make a total of $121 offered) with one MO in the mail and an unspecified pledge from Jae. Nowhere near enough to make a dent in his bills, but would be enough to, say, get a couple movies for him to watch during his stay. Maybe a gift cert for him and his girlfriend to enjoy a dinner when he's out of the hospital...
