problem with foglight light output
ok, i got some obx foglights a few weeks ago. they were kinda cheap, so i didnt expect much of them, but i noticed the other night that they werent as bright as they used to be.
turns out, the bulbs got so hot, that they melted the crome coating off of the reflectors. so they suck now. they are the normal 55w bulb, so i know the bulb isnt the problem. just cheaply made.
is there something i can do to fix this? is there a high-temp chrome spray paint i can use to respray the reflectors? or should i just say screw it, and go buy some different ones. id rather just fix these if theres a way to, but i dont know what i can do.
what would be some good ones for under 100 bucks. i want black housing, either clear or blue lense, driving or fog lights, doesnt matter, but a white or blueish light output. round, and small, i think these are like 2.5-3 inches around, but the lense is about 1.5 inches.
