Default why go B when H is best bang for buck?

im confused AGAIN! sry guys. gunna get an engine. was looking at b16 or b18. but i just was on fnf-motors.com. and im wonderng why i shouldnt just get an h22... its just a little bit more than the b16 and produces more aswell. so why is there so much hype about b-series when it looks obviously more efficient to go with h-series. UNLESS they cant, or are very difficult to swap into hondas(which is what im guessing). i have a 92 hatch. yesterday i was at a car show, and saw a 96-00 hatch with an h22a in it, which got me looking. and now here we are. thanks ahead for your imputs.
