www.download.com search adaware and spybot, install those applications, update their definitions, and run them on a weekly basis.

that should help to speed your laptop up a bit...but you wouldn't hurt from a memory upgrade either.

actually i am running the newest version of adaware and I run it and check for updates everyday. I also defrag my computer about once a month and do disk cleanup like once a week. I think maybe I just need to let go of some of the these hundred or so music videos and other crap like that...
