Next time you can use a couple of 12mm bolts and tighten them in the threaded holes that are on the rotors. The threaded holes are located on the rotor hat 90 deg from where the philips screws are. Evenly tighten them until the rotor slips off. It's a lot more quiet than bashing the rotor and it takes less energy. hth for next time
