Yeah, I was gone for a while, I'm probably going to start a post about it later (expect that to be very very long). Anyway, your going to use a lot more of a swap than just the block and crank, you'll also need a tranny, ECU, the rest of the internals (oil pump, bearings, rings, girdle ...), shift linkage, axle's, intake manifold, throttlebody, sensors, wiring harness ... None are really expensive, but they can all add up, cost a lot to ship and make it more economical to just buy a complete swap and upgrade it or even drive as is (if you bought a B18C1). If your willing to put the time and money into parting the thing together, you can probably do it, but I'd rather just avoid the entire headache and just buy a complete swap to build off of. Just my opinion. Seeya.
i have a b18c1 in my daily driver. im building an all go hatch with this. I think the lsvtec is a badass setup and wish i did that instead of the gsr. But I have all the time in the world to build this motor. Plus my buddy owns the local import shop here so I get everything at cost w/o shipping charges. and no I wont use the IM or TB or harness. cant use a ls harness for a lsvtec. plus i got the rings, bearings, girdle and oil pump with my block for 150.
