well i have given it all I can. I guess I need a bigger hammer. Its also a bit tough to get a good hit on it without the car on a hoist. I do have the wheels turned and can give it a pretty good smash but no luck yet. i'd hate to have take it to a shop now - especially since I have to put it all back together. Same situation on both sides. doh!!!

things like this are infuriating. i would have thought an hour would do it.
