I said it was unfounded because he pulled the 50% out of his ass. Unfounded doesn't mean untrue, it means its not substantiated.
Even worse, the way he worded made it sound like all marriages end because of financial issues. Fortunately I read through his confusing rhetoric and understood what he was implying.
