i was trying to jumpstart my girlfriends car but everytime i hookup the jumper cables to her battery the alarm starts going off, and the remote wont turn it off. it is the factory alarm and my question was..is there some way that i can disarm the alarm so that it wont go off everytime i try to jumpstart it? it is a 99 honda civic. thanks for any info
