my friend has a 92 eclipse gs stock the motor has 7.8.1 compression pistons and puts out 195 hp at 9 psi of boost which is stock for the 90-93 eclipse so if you were to take that turbo off the engine it would probably only produce about 130 hp i know personally 2 people who have cars this year and they are running low 9's in the quatermile with 8.5.1 compression pistons so mabey you might have a point on that my buddie put about 8000 into just building the motor and making it ready to withstand 30psi by just simply straping on a bigger turbo . i can prove it by makeing a phone call to luke at beyond redline in wisconsin. ... thing im most worried about is detination and finding a head gasket that will be able to withstand the boost and higher compression other that that all the parts i listed do exhist ive seen them online for sale its just a matter of searching all over again now that im gonna have the money to actually buy them all.. but the one thing im worried about is getting some new axels the stock ones probably wont be good for anything over 300 now i seen this website that sells axels for civic's and intergra's that can withstand up to 850 hp without any prolbems so my question is this i know people swap the h22 into civic's so will thoes axels work on my 93 prelude??
