Problem with Electrics - Dials, central locking, security all not functioning
Hi Kevin from Australia here.Hope someone can help me.
I have a 2003 Integra type R have just tried to fit an aftermarket DVD/LCD player to the dash. All wiring correctly connected (double checked) but the unit doesn't even power up. Now the speedo and RPM gauge dials are playing up ( RPM stays on last rev level when car is switched off and the speedo dial flicks to 120mph when you start the car and then settles back to where it should be), also the remote power locking and security are not working any more. Checked all fuses under dash and under bonnet no blown fuses. Reinstalled factory Kenwood Radio/CD Player and that doesn't any longer!
No smoke, no starnge nosies and checked all wiring connections correct.
HELP!
Hope someone on this forum can give me an idea what might have gone wrong.

Reason: Fixed - was the " Backup Fuse" under the Bonnet - what a stupid name for a fuse that controls radio, power locks etc!
