I would first suggest looking at the air tools that you are planning on running. They will show the cfm requirements on the box. From that, you can size your compressor correctly.

I have a 15 gallon compressor at my house and I can't run 1/2" impact drivers because the CFM is too low. You are going to be looking at a pretty large compressor.
