Eh the 6-speed TL is alright.

It's pretty much like a Mazda6s (i.e. stick shift and V6) but a little bigger, with a nicer interior, a better shifter, a softer ride, and more power.

That seems like a lot of differences but the cars struck me as rather similar, having driven both within the last month or so.
