i took apart my center piece before. I painted all the vents and everything down the middle. It's actually prettty tricky. There are also a lot of hidden screws that you dont wanna pull real hard or else they'll snap. You have to start by removing the screws on the sides of the center console by your knees. Unfortunately that's all i can remember. But i didnt even use the book it was all basically unscrew as you go then bam, you're done. Just dont forget about those hidden screws, they're a pain if you break them, they rattle. But agreeing with them, Haynes will tell you everything in the world you need to know about dessembling that.
