there aren't a lot of cable trannies for b series motors floating around as most come with hydraulic units...however the 1st gen b16 (y1/s1) models had cable trannies

a d series cable tranny that comes in a usdm crx will not work as they won't match up

your motor is most likely obd2 (unless the previous owner altered it)
