Whatever you do ... DON'T FALL INTO THE RETAIL HOLE. No offense to anyone here, but that happened to me. I went to community college right after high school. I realized I DIDN'T have to go to class and started to put more effort into my crap mall job. I wasted 4 years making decent money, but working retarded hours. I got my ass back in gear and finished college by the age of 25. Unfortunately, at the age of 22, I transfered into a 4 year university with only 35 usable credits ... I had 60 in CC, but didn't really pay attention to what I was taking.
I agree. I got sucked into community college and later into a full time job since I had to move out and get my own place. I tried doing school and work, but school got the short end of the stick. I'm finally going back this Fall and have about a year & 1/2 left to finish. If I had to do it again, I would have gotten into any college that would've taken me. I did learn a lot by being independent, but school should have been first.
