I have a Honda prelude 2.2 vtec, 1994. When the handbrake is on the rear drivers side wheel will still spin freely. I have tightened the cable(in the car, under the middle storage box) and that has made no difference. What should I do next. I think it is either the handbrake cable that needs to be checked or the caliper. How can I find out what is the cause without needlessing changing parts?

And what cheap solutions are there out there to sort the problem out?
