The i-VTEC is plenty powerful, and those not familiar with engines would probably think it is a V6. It has plentiful midrange torque and great power throughout the range. I'd rather have that engine and a 5 speed manual than the current engine and tranny in my car.

There are plenty of modifications for it to boost power, but get the car first to see if you want to invest in them.
