So I was right.

Because of no worries about sulfur compounds literally corroding engine components thanks to the nationwide availability of low-sulfur diesel fuel in Summer 2006, we'll see common-rail pressurized direct injection and a new generation of catalytic converters that double as particulate traps. I can see DaimlerChrysler install a special fluid tank in the car that will hold the urea solution used to clean the exhaust gases.

If I were DaimlerChrysler I would put the 4.0-liter V8 turbodiesel into the next-generation S-Class sedans for a US-market model to demonstrate you can get high performance and still get very good fuel economy.
