Exempt got it right on. The AEM is soo much more for that aplication. when i did my swap my after market intake worked from my 90 dx on the b16. i juat had to cut it really short til i got my stock intake back then i just used the the long part to get me by the battery and hooked up the piece i had left from the after market one. i havnt relocated my battery yet but its a for sure thing looks cleaner in your engine bay and you just have more room to work with. so you would be safe with a aftermarket one for your d- series just might be a little tight fit on the TB.
