To save anyone this problem of having a bunch of wires thru the same hole, try this. Run one fat 6-8 gauge wirefrom the battery thru the hole and hook it up to a fuse block that you can buy at Pep Boys. That way you can run however many amps you want, depending on the size fuse block you bought, and have all the fuses in one place and it will all be neatly tucked away under the dash.
Having the fuse that far away from the power source is not safe. If you are going that route, fuse the main power wire at THE MOST 18" from the battery post. Then re-fuse again at the distribution under the dash...(if you are going to use that idea)
And to add, a 6-8 gauge wire isnt that big. If you want to go with that idea, I would go with a 4 gauge, it will give more headroom in the future.
