I was going to do a fused distribution block under the hood to fuse only the stereo stuff, then run to the ABS, starter, and fuse block somehow. Now, I'll just pull off the battery terminal under the red cover like you said, go through the above fuse and through the firewall.
I'll post pics when I get it installed. It's kind of hard to explain.
