I had purchased a Honda Care extended warranty for my 1995 Accord when I purchased it new. Paid $965.00 for it which was the biggest mistake I had ever made in buying a car. Never used the warranty! It was like taking $965.00 and burning it in my fireplace.

Do remember though a friend of mine bought new a 1998 Accord V-6 and opted not to buy the warranty. Unfortunately for him, he went through 3 transmissions . The first one was covered at 31K but the second and third were not. He know drives a Toyota Camry XLE V-6 and would never buy another Honda again. In short, he had a lemon which was quiet common that year!
