which is why i'm gonna go 84... cuz I wanna boost later on, and I figure if I bore first, i'll save money in tuning once I'm boosting.
I saw a 84.5 boosting 20psi with race gas, pushing 515whp...
but even that .5 would scare me..

You only need to re-bore if they mess up boring it the 1st time, correct?
because bore = making the wholes in the block bigger.
then you put sleeves inside of that.
then you put pistons inside of that, correct?
