You do not need to purchase the warranty at the time of purchase, for you can get one prior to the manufacturer's new vehicle warranty expiring, or even after it has.
So, put simply...stick with the HondaCare warranties ONLY
AND
wait until 24 months or 24,000 miles to decide if you want it. That is the cutoff before the warranty gets more expensive (+$60, I think).
