well on one side (passenger i have a 94-95 and on the other i have the other one. Now i just need to find a 94-95 mirror for my drivers side b/c that one is in worse condition and i would like my mirrors to match.

I also pefer the smooth because they are easier to wax (and more aerodynamic which shaves some time of my 1/4 )
