For four extra years of coverage beyond the manufacturers' warranty, that's $210 per year. Not that terrible for the peace of mind.

Also, the HondaCare extended warranty has a nice feature - if you cancel before the warranty expires and you have not filed a claim under the warranty, you can get a pro-rated refund. This comes in handy if you decide to sell early. Also, the warranty is transferable to another owner, which will certainly help you sell your car if you choose to do so.
