GE hasn't had a sleeve sinking issue for a couple years... their old style sleeves did, but the hew HD's are unsinkable. They're beautiful. I would also recommend benson's sleeves (from personal experience).

I've tuned multiple daily-driven setups to over 300whp with stock internals without any issues. It's all in the tune. Just don't skimp on the engine management... at the very least, consider one of the free hacks (uberdata or crome). NepTune is the SHIT... or you can really step up to AEM EMS, autronic, etc..
