the car is a 91 CRX Si, it already has 4-wheel disc brakes.

I've bled the brakes many many times, between regular maintenance and replacing the rotors and doing 3 brake pad replacements.

It does need a brake flush, that much I know. I'll have to rent a power bleeder. The master cylinder is 268,000 miles old. It's pretty likely that it needs the seals replaced. But, I'll see about renting a power bleeder, and going from there.
