If you're talking about the soft flexy rubber stripping that's held on by the colored clips?

If so, then you can tug on the rubber until it comes off of the colored clip. I had to strip my doors 2 summers ago when it went in for paint. Just be gentle if the rubber is really old and brittle. My rubber was 8 y/o at the time and it was fine. Only trim piece I broke during the whole process was a black hard plastic trim piece by my back window.
