Honda should have not manufactured their transmissions with cheaper domestic parts. The 4th generation Accords have rock solid auto transmissions. Currently my 90 Accord has 180K with no auto tranny problems.

I think a manual 98 Accord might be my next choice. Honda should give VIN information for those small percentage of 6th generation Accords. This way a potential buyer is aware of this problem for a particular vehicle.
