hi try looking at edmunds.com, msn.cars.com, consumer reports mag. epinions.com read up on customer/owner reviews.. it seems that as the accord is newer the more problems with them 4 or 6 cy.. my 92 has had fewer problems over its life time then new ones..she is getting old and things are failing but i expect them too at her age. she still has quite a few original parts.. some that are going now are pricey but i replace them usually 1x and be done with it vs some of these new cars its over and over and over again. i did have to replace my auto tranny i thought early 05 113,000 mi.. internal problem it had fluid changes on time honda serviced and no abuse.. but with her age and sometimes 2 drivers things happen.. original rear brake pads... in 04 and 05 just now replacing brake bulbs and stuff.. no dash ones yet.. she is horrible to buy parts for repairs are $$$ compared to american made cars but i have gotten years of peace and just get in her and go vs the american made cars my family has owned.. i personally prefer my generation of accord.. seems the newer accords civics etc the quality doesnt seem to be there..but that is MHO. i feel for u though nothing is more costly, time consuming or nerve wracking then car repairs... mine is into the $1000s, months apart.. nothing as new as 98 to 02 should have so many problems read up on some of the reviews.. disgruntle owners? or everyday drivers?.. id bypass the ones expecting prefection. a friend of mine has a 1990 corolla 108,000 mi no rattles what so ever.. every honda ive been something rattles... good luck
