I have an 88 Accord LX-I with 265,000 miles on it and it runs like a dream but fortunately normal wear and tear things start to happen with a 17 year old car. The A/C stopped working (needs a new compressor), the drivers power window stopped working (needs a new power window control box) and I have to replace the upper control arms on the car. Other than those issues the car has been extremely reliable I had it since 1990 with only 34,000 miles at the time. That car has been so good to me that Ive owned nothing else but Hondas ever since a 97 Integra GS-R and a 01 Accord EX to replace my 88 one day (I have all three still) but only when it dies but after fixing those problems mentioned above who knows I could get another 265,000 out of it. Accords and any other Hondas for that matter will run forever if properly maintained.
