Your header will not have a great effect on tone because of the location in the exhaust. It will make it a bit louder on an N/A car based on the fact that it is less restrictive. As earlier stated, if you are looking for low/mid power then you need to get a 4-2-1. If you want mid/high power, you want a 4-1. I personally have had both and I preferred the 4-1 over the 4-2-1. You have much more flexibility with high-end power over low-end power.
