They are pretty good on the rotors. They won't stop as quickly as semimetallic or organic pads since they have to heat up to be more effective and even then, they don't stop as well. If you are worried about dusting, those are the best option.

I personally don't care since I would rather have a little dust and stop quicker than less dust and ram into someone because I didn't have the braking power.
