when i say unprovoked, i mean he threw the first punch. the kid was approaching him, but made no sign that he would attack. the bus driver, without looking or thinking, just spun around and smacked him. the kids were being punks and were out of line, but there were plenty of other things the driver could have done instead of physical assault.
