Default Need help with new turbo installation - overheats immediately!

Ok ok...

so i finally got the greddy turbo kit installed in my d15b swap. the only problem is, the engine overheats in several minutes. whether i drive or let it idle, it overheats. i checked all the lines, the coolant lines are fine and not cracked - nothing is leaking.

the fans apparently come on, although i don't know if they stay on (although i don't think that would be the problem of it overheating so quickly). i'm reusing the radiator i was using on my old engine, and it was fine.

I don't know what the problem is. also, when we took it for a spin, the car feels super slow - like it makes no boost (but the BOV works loud and fine). so apparently it IS making boost, just not doing anything with it.

The intercooler kit isn't hooked up yet, but according to greddy the kit doesn't come with one and doesn't require one to work properly. they said its a "good idea", but not required. so this obviously wouldn't be the problem right? i can't even get this car to the exhaust shop to do the intercooler piping because it will overheat by the time i reach the highway.

all the fluids are ok and double-checked, oil is fine, i just can't figure out what the problem is.

the eManage is hooked up and the lights flash as they are supposed to do. Greddy said the eManage is tuned from the factory to go in my car... they said its tuned to run stock everything. so what am i doing wrong? am i running too lean? but then why would my car overheat in three minutes while idling?

at one point when it was cooled off, we were recharging the A/C and just letting it idle with the A/C running.... the thing overheated by the time we finished the 2nd bottle of R-134a.....

any ideas?

thanks!
