It all depends on the turbo. The Greddy TD05 turbo is efficient at lower boost levels since it is smaller. It does make a good amount of difference between boost levels but you need to make sure that the car is tuned and built for the higher boost if you plan on taking it there. Also, 8 psi on a TD05 is much different than 8 psi on a T3/T4 hybrid turbo due to size and flow.

You can buy a DSM BOV that will work just fine. You will need a blow off valve unless you plan to prematurely rebuild the turbo because the thrust bearings have been distroyed by compressor surge.
