if u mean vss vehicle speed sensor its on the tranny towards the firewall. the dealer has it for $114.50+ tax.. i recently replaced mine this month.. i have a 92 accord auto. its a triangular shaped sensor..look at the new one to see what to look for.. they vary according to model and yr..go to the pass. side of the engine bay to the fire wall follow it down then across to the radiator hose that connects to the thermostat housing. go up from there a few inches to the right or towards the drivers side.. it sits low on the tranny..buried under intake hoses and such... there are 2 power steering hoses coming out from under it. it sits on top of the powersteering sensor. has a plug on top of the sensor and its mounted under a small bracket that has 2 10 mm bolts on it. get a wobbly tool extension set from autozone $10. u will be able to see and get to the bolt on the pass side from the pass side. the other one u need to go between 2 intake rubber hoses with the 10'' wobble extension tool. unplug the sensor, remove the 2 bolts, be careful, there is a pin inside of the sensor. it only fits in one way.. the square end inside the vss the other side has 2 fins? on it, goes into the ps sensor. i placed the new pin into the powersteering sensor then placed the new vss on top of the pin. place the 2 bolts back on by hand to seat them, then tighten them on, plug in the plug. its hard to see what you are doing because its tight in there so u have to feel it.. its a pain to get your hand in there to seat the pin, sensor on top of it and bolts back on. the vss is pregreased. the plug can be a tight fit and hard to unplug and replug.. it took me 20 mins to do. im a female my hands are smaller and can get into spaces easier.. its filthy down there. the plug can get water in it so look into it see if it needs to be cleaned out..good luck hope it works for you..
