ok so here's the deal..previous car was a 96 saturn sl2 with kit rims I/H all the basics including custom trunk setup which seemed to impress most, and since most people wonder is it fast, here's the kill list..oh and it was an auto..99 mustang v6, 96 civic ex?, 98 teg non vtec, but he also beat me once, pretty much a drivers race, 94ish prelude non vtec..again another driver's race, eclipse rs and gs, legend, sohc 98 civic..had that one half way through first, 96 altima SE, 98 civic hatch, neon....but it was totalled when i flipped it and i am now the proud owner of a 92 ls. Current mods to the car are true CAI, exhaust, front and rear struts, coilovers, kuhmo tires on 98gsr wheels, and a kit. So, i have some questions. First of all i really need specs on it, as well as some recommended things i should do upon getting this that most of you do thats maybe different from my other car. For instance, in my saturn i used 10w30 whereas tegs seem to use 5w30 and you guys dont seem to use fram..any reason why? Are there any common problems i need to look out for, that kind of thing. I am really going to be getting into this car and have already read of course about the hybrid swap with the vtec head which will most likely be done at some point. And also is anyone in the j-ville FL area? I would be intrested in meeting some fellow teggie owners to swap info and chill at some car meet ups n what not. Thanks for all the help everyone.
