open the center console compartment, underneath the plastic plate (or CD holder) there are 2 screws to take out... then pull the cup holder out, and there is another screw in there, the one by itself close to the edge. The armrest assembly will pop out from the other part of the console, and you can remove it. Where the 2 console pieces met, there are 2 screws that hold the black trim in place... then one more behind the ash tray... with those out, the black trim will pop out, you then disconnect the switches, clock and cigeratte lighter and the trim is out of the way. On the underside of the pocket, there are 2 screws that hold the radio in... take those out and the radio/pocket assembly can be unplugged and pulled out.

The single disc add on player should come with a few new brackets, and it actually ends up being mounted on top of the cassette player. If you are getting a good deal on this player, its a good solution if you are after a stock look. The sound quality is not as great as an aftermarket unit, but it functions well and does play CD-R's and CD-RW's... just not MP3's.

For about $300 you can get a brand new Alpine M-bus 6 disc changer and an adapter to plug into the back of your stock cassette deck (Best Buy & Circuit City have the adapters for the best price of about $30, specialty shops charge about $60), then mount the changer in a place of your liking (trunk, glove box, center console compartment) and you'll have 6 disc convience, plus a totally stock looking dash. All you'd need to take the cassette deck out for is to plug in that one connector, and thats it.
