I'm about to open a savings account with ING Direct. I will get a variable 3% annual percentage yield on my savings. plus, there are no fees, and i can set up automatic electronic deposit from a linked checking account every month. their site states they assure a high interest rate depending on market conditions.

so...ING Savings, or CD? Later this year I'll be opening a Roth IRA account.
