as was said, stop wasting your money on junk giimmick bulbs..
this is MUCH better in the long run(next two pics are cheap ass projector housings retrofitted with hella HID projectors)
Then not are are you not faking the color, you can actually see better
hell if you have a 6G, even just a cheap HID bulb retrofit works ok. I wouldn't recommend it on most cars, but the 6G accord responds pretty well to HID, not that bad of glare. I tried the bulb route in my wrx and was blinding the crap out of people, so I went with STi HID housings instead, but the accord wasn't bad, I'm just anal about lighting.(this is stock 6G accord headlamps, with rebased philips ultinon D2R, the faint blue line on the botton are the OEM fog lamps with riceboy blue bulbs in them trying to match the HID)
I spent more money on bulbs pre-hid than I did on my entire HID setup in the accord. I tried Silverstars, Nokya, PIAA(two different sets of $70 freaking bulbs), Polarg, you name, I tried it. All a waste of money, none with the true color, nor function of HID. Once I touched HID I have never even thought about buying the junk bulbs. I had my STi housings on my wrx within 2 months of buying the car. I've since added the leveling switch and harness which is a pretty cute feature
