Common sense would tell me to use the cheaper product that does the job just as well as the more expensive product. its like going to the grocery store and buying organic eggs over regular eggs. The organic eggs are not going to make me superman so I'll do the smart thing and get the regular eggs and save myself some money.
You are 1,000 PERCENT WRONG, I am NOT looking to find an excuse to use premium-----far from it.....I am TRYING, if you would read carefully, to get an answer from another sixth gen owner (because I misplaced my manual during relocating from New York to Las Vegas) on EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF FUEL WE SHOULD BE PUTTING IN THESE CARS.....all I mentioned is that I have heard RUMORS that PREMIUM will somehow bump horsepower up; I TOLD YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE IN HERE IN MY VERY VERY FIRST POST THAT MY SALESMAN TOLD ME IF I USE PREMIUM, HORSEPOWER WILL JUMP FROM 200 TO 205.....THATS WHERE I GOT THAT INFORMATION FROM.....your assesment of my take on this is completely wrong, sir, please respectufully take this as a fact. I am NOT an advocate for premium, only trying to find out WHAT KIND OF GAS THE SIXTH GENERATION V-6 MODELS ARE SUPPOSED TO RUN ON.
I dont know why people find a need to do this, and I mean the human race in general.....why do we keep on needing to beat around the bush and pointing fingers and telling people "seems like you need an excuse....." instead of just ANSWERING a question and ending a post; if there is anyone ELSE who owns a sixth generation V-6 Accord and KNOWS what kind of gas SHOULD be used, please share your information and insight. Thank you, very respectfully.
