i left san jose at 1pm on friday, arriving at chris' place around 8pm. traffic from northern LA to OC was crazy

wned: picked up chris and made it to derek's around 9. PB bar and grill was cool...drank a lot and chilled. dom, thanks for coming out.
we crashed at derek's around 5am. around that time i sobered up and was wide awake...i tried forcing myself to sleep but ended up lying there listening to chris snore and talk in his sleep. he also made some growling noises that scared the shit outta me. later we found out he was dreaming of riding an ATV, and those growling noises were from the engine :rofl: i FINALLY fell asleep around 630-645, but then derek's housekeeper came at 7....so i enjoyed a whopping ~30 minutes of sleep :doh: eddie said it was a "long blink" :lmao: thanks a bunch for letting me crash at your place derek
we chilled at derek's for a while, then i took chris back to the OC (you're welcome for lunch man!). it took me almost two hours to drive back to SD because of traffic. a few hours later eddie picked us up for the mystery BOB's wedding :rick: derek and i were laughing because eddie put his broadway mirror in the A4 also :rofl: the ceremony and reception were fun. like derek said, it was cool watching our homie step up to the next phase in life.
after the reception, i thought about going straight to san jose. eddie convinced me not too, because i had no sleep the night before and i would most likely end up on the news. he let me stay with him in irvine (thanks again homie) to save me 1.5hrs of driving the next day. i dropped some stuff off and we went to the local viet sammich joint. for some reason, we were laughing our asses off and everything seemed funny. other people there must have thought we were retards
i left irvine around 12:30 on sunday. traffic was shitty until i passed the grapevine. with a few breaks for food and gas, i made it back in 6.5 hours. i unpacked, did my laundry, and then had dinner with a friend. went to sleep early, and here i am
