Im not sure if its the same, but ive got a 94 dx and they had the 6.5 in the back...i took a saw and a bit of aggression out on those holes and got the 6x9's to fit in there no prob. If you really want to go through the trouble of getting 6x9 over the 6x5 you should probably be investing in a decent pair, maybe some Polk Ex's....best to just go listen to as many as you can and find the ones that sound best for your budget...
